What to expect: Fun bingo games, raffles, cash & gift prizes, great food and drinks, plus adoptable dogs outside! Bingo is a 21+ event but kids are welcome at the adoptable dog tent outside. Doors open at 11, bingo starts at 12.

Join us at Troegs Brewery in Hershey, PA to raise funds for the rescue! Stop by between 11:30am-9pm to enjoy delicious scratch-made food featuring local ingredients from the Troegs Snack Bar. When you’re ready to close your tab, present the Nirvana voucher (contact us for yours) to ensure 20% of your food purchases will be donated to the rescue. We’ll have adoptable dogs onsite from 1-3pm to join in the fun!

Join us in the outdoor beer garden at Troegs Independent Brewing for good brews, bar snacks, and of course, adoptable dogs hoping to find their families! This location is kid-friendly and dog friendly outdoors.

Please join us for a day full of valentine love, dog/cat themed flash tattoos, a doggy kissing booth, food truck, raffle prizes and more!

Flash tattoos will be $80 each, more info to come on how to buy tickets.

This fundraiser benefits Nirvana Animal Rescue and the tattoos will be done by the awesome team at Minerva's Quill Tattoo in Duncannon, PA.

Merry Merchants is our annual outdoor winter festival in downtown New Cumberland! Here’s what you can expect:

Join us for a fun, Halloween-themed event with Benny’s Pet Depot! We’ll be there with our adoptable dogs, along with several other rescues and pet-related vendors. The event will feature a pet costume contest and parade, bake sale, raffle prizes and 50/50 drawing, low-cost dog nail trims, and a live DJ.

Woofstock is the largest festival for dogs and their humans on the East Coast and was voted “Simply the Best” charity and community event! There will be food trucks galore, more than 100 animal-related vendors, a low cost vaccine and microchipping clinic, a pet costume contest, live music, and a dog lure course. We’ll be there with our adoptable dogs looking for forever homes!

Join us at the Landisburg Summer Kick Off for a family-friendly day of fun! We’ll have adoptable dogs on site until 5pm and the event features food trucks, free kids activities, live music, and more. See you there!

Join us at Appalachian Brewing Company in Mechanicsburg to grab a brew, learn more about the rescue, and most importantly, meet our adoptable dogs! This event is open to all, including kids and leashed dogs.

This October, the Harrisburg Book Festival returns for its 12th year!

Proudly presented by the Midtown Scholar Bookstore from October 9th-13th, the Harrisburg Book Festival celebrates the written word and its power to inspire, provoke, and delight. Featuring an outdoor tent sale, award-winning authors, and children’s day programming, the Harrisburg Book Festival promotes a culture of reading and community in the heart of Pennsylvania’s state capital — all while surrounded by thousands of books at one of the nation’s leading independent bookstores.

We’ll be there from 11-3pm with lots of adoptable dogs and puppies. We hope to see you there!

WoofStock is the largest festival for dogs and their humans on the east coast and was voted “Simply The Best” charity and community event by Harrisburg Magazine! Approximately 10,000 people attend WoofStock, and each has at least one dog with them!

Help us celebrate Independent Bookstore Day at the Midtown Scholar! This one-day national event will feature family-friendly programs, author signings, blind-date-with-a-book, exclusive sales, and of course, adoptable dogs! Nirvana adopter and local author and illustrator Lauren Castillo will be here from 10am-12pm for a story time and signing of her new children’s picture book, Just Like Millie. Of course, we’ll be on site with lots of dogs and puppies looking for forever homes!

Join us for a fun afternoon of bingo to benefit a the rescue! While several games of bingo are going on inside, we’ll have adoptable dogs outside, merchandise for sale, and food and drinks available for purchase inside. The Shermans Creek Inn is a 21 and over facility, but kids are welcome to hang outside with us and the pups! Inside, there will be tons of prizes up for grabs during bingo, including a brand new Chromebook courtesy of Prismworks Technology Inc!
