Nutmeg and his siblings found themselves at a rural shelter when they were only a few weeks old. Several found homes through the shelter, but Nutmeg remained behind, growing up in the shelter environment. Fortunately, one of our foster homes took him in so we could get him out of the shelter and start finding his perfect forever family!

Nutmeg is 3 months old and weighs around 15 lbs. We are guessing he is a shepherd collie mix, but we cannot say for sure! He is a super smart and extremely sweet puppy who is thriving in his foster home. His foster reports that he loves everyone and is more people-motivated than dog-motivated, but he does enjoy playing with the three other dogs in his foster home. He's indifferent to the cat in the home, other than occasionally checking him out for a quick sniff. He is super food motivated and smart, making training fun for both his person and him! Nutmeg is lovable, loyal, and easy to fall in love with. As expected with his age, potty training is still a work in progress, though he's not had any #2 accidents inside!

To adopt Nutmeg, please apply using the button below!

Nutmeg's adoption fee is $450, which covers his vaccines, microchip, monthly prevention, and neuter. Nutmeg is not yet neutered, but will be scheduled at the rescue's vet when he is old enough. He will go home under a foster-to-adopt agreement until his neuter is complete.

Please note we cannot guarantee the age or breed of our dogs. All of our dogs are working on their crate and house training.
