Hamilton came into the care of our rescue partner in SC after his owner ended up in jail. Hamilton was in rough shape, extremely emaciated and full of intestinal worms. He spent a night in the vet hospital receiving fluids and starting on a refeeding plan before recovering in a local foster home. We are so excited to welcome him into the Nirvana family and find him the best forever home!   

Hamilton is around 7 months old and weighs 35 lbs. He's a compact little guy who still has some growing to do, but we don't anticipate he'll be a very large guy when full-grown! We are guessing he is a pit bull/staffordshire terrier mix, but without knowing who his parents are we can't say for sure. We do know that Hamilton is the sweetest, gentlest little guy with a heart of absolute gold. He has lived with dogs, cats, and kids and been wonderful and sweet with them all. While shy at first, he opens up with gentle words, yummy treats, and kind eyes, making new friends quickly. He's looking for a family who can continue building his confidence and provide the training every young dog needs to grow into the best behaved adult dog he can be.
