Age: 12 weeks
Size: 8 lbs
Estimated breed: Terrier/Black mouth cur mix
Bitsy was found as a stray in rough shape. She had developed rickets, or bowed legs, due to poor nutrition and lack of Vitamin D. She was assumed to be a chihuahua since she weighed only 3 lbs when she was found! Fortunately, with some TLC, Bitsy has overcome rickets and grown to be a typical puppy!
As of 3/8, Bitsy is 12 weeks old and weighs around 8 lbs. We are guessing she is some kind of terrier/black mouth cur mix, but we do not know who either of her parents are so we can't say for sure! We do know that she is a sweet, snuggly, playful puppy who has done well with cats, kids, and dogs. Like all puppies, she's looking for a forever family with the time and patience to teach her everything she needs to know about the world. Professional training is paramount to raising successful adult dogs, and she's looking forward to showing off her smarts!
